Jeff Teague:
"I think I showed that I can play in this league. I think (Woody) believes in me. He’s told me it was going to be a learning year like he told you guys. So I just soaked everything up and tried to learn as much as possible, and tried to learn from Bibby and Jamal as much as I could."
Mike Brown:
"Glad to get this game over with. Now we can focus on the playoffs."
There is no better palate cleanser for playoff basketball than watching Jason Collins in the high post attempting to hit Mario West on a backdoor cut. Plus, witnesses received confirmation that, had Jeff Teague been given the opportunity to play summer league* basketball, many would have found it far more frustrating that he played 719 minutes this season.

*Mike Woodson says the Hawks will have a summer league team this summer but I'd put more stock in that coming from someone himself under contract for next season. Not that I especially expect Woodson not to be on the sidelines next season just that it's an odd situation.
  • 53 wins.
  • The third seed in the East.
  • A four-way tie for the second-best home record in the league.
  • Three more road wins than the previous season.
The series against the Bucks start at 5:30pm (EDT) on Saturday at Philips Arena. I pre-previewed the series through the lens of the final regular season meeting between the two teams on Tuesday. Start there and watch this space (and Bucksketball) for further analysis and speculation.
