Smith has slightly reduced the frequency of his jump shots as he's begun to regress toward his career norms.
Not coincidentally, his scoring rate has picked up and is, season-to-date, the second-highest of his career, this despite a diminished free throw rate (27.0 for his career entering the season, 20.1 so far in 2010-11). That free throw rate itself diminished despite an encouraging start (70.4 FT%) to Smith's season from the line.

How hard is it to talk about and follow the Hawks when they are this frustrating and hard to watch?
I have been a season ticket holder for 10 years now... and I just turn of the television and scalp my tickets when I see the way they are playing these days...
