Euroleague Quarterfinals Update

Updating yesterday's post, Olympiacos beat Real Madrid 88-79*. Josh Childress (in what I believe was his third game back from surgery) scored 8 points (on 4 shots) and grabbed 4 rebounds (all defensive) in 18:48.

Both David Andersen (2 points on 1-4 FGA, 0-1 3PTA in 12:49) and Barcelona (84-75 losers at home to Tau Ceramica) fared worse.

Highlights here.

All four quarterfinal series resume tomorrow.

*Euroleague boxscores reflect both the fouls you commit and the fouls you draw. I'd rather that than blocks against in the NBA boxscore.

I always love the Euroleague battles.

You can bet that there will be a lot of eyeballs on this year’s Nike Hoop Summit. Top US high school seniors vs the Top high school seniors from the rest of the world. International stars like Dirk, Tony Parker and Bargnani played in it before they got drafted.

Yahoo Sports is doing a live webcast of the game on April 11th.

I wonder how different the Hawks bench would be if we could add Childress and Andersen into the fold in the off-season.

But that's looking just about impossible.
