PREVIOUSLY
...the Orlando Magic beat the Atlanta Hawks 114-71 in the first game of the series on Tuesday night.

Quotes, Notes, and Links from Game 1

The Orlando Magic won three of four regular season meetings against the Atlanta Hawks.

Orlando dominated the season series, in part, by attempting many more three-pointers and free throws and many fewer long two-point jump shots than Atlanta.

An updated (through Game 1 of the playoff series) look at shot selection.

A prediction. Without watching any of the post-game coverage or press conferences, I suspect that when you get the quotes up tomorrow, we'll see a lot of Hawks patting themselves and each other on the back. "Hey, we played good enough to win, and only lost by 14." Most specifically, I expect to see it from Woody and Josh Smith.

I'm looking forward to seeing if I'm right. They were trying to sit on an 8 point lead for the last 24 minutes, even though it was gone almost immediately out of the gate.
