Josh Smith's FT% By Game, 2008-09

Another simple one I made while working out the kinks. Had I to do it over again, I might have kept the X-axis at team games rather than games played so as to better see the time Smith missed due to injury.

The upper boundary of this graph is set at 70.3, Smith's career FT% entering the season.

Please add any questions, suggestions, or additional compliments in the comments.

Love this line of study - this is exactly the sort of stuff I look for in a sports blog. Please keep them coming.

Also, I agree that you should probably put games on the x axis instead of games played...

I think it would be cool to see what the per game FT % would be on this same graph, so you can see the descent even more starkly. It might even be cool to put Ws and Ls next to those games as well, but then I'm probably asking for a lot. Though, isn't that what a blogger should do? Ask for more... :)

Let's not overlook the fact that it took me 56 games worth of the season to get everything set up to do this.

In the coming days the goal is to provide more information without sacrificing legibility. We'll see...
