Kings 119 Hawks 107

I wasn't optimistic about this road trip but things have been far worse than I anticipated. The final 9:49 of the game last night provided a dispiriting end to a long day. I hope many of you had the good sense to go ahead and fall asleep knowing that the Hawks would play a maddening fourth quarter.

Oh, and Acie Law IV may be seriously injured. Even the possibility of a Salim Stoudamire contract push fails to cheer me up right now. Nor does some mainstream media pressure to fire Mike Woodson.

An injury update should anything become known and more on the imploding team defense later today. Feel free to leave your free agent/D-League point guard suggestions in the comments.

Ballhype: hype it up!

I guess you'd have to start the list with Randy Livingston.

Joe Johnson at point! He can't get a shot off while being quintuple teamed anyway so he might as well play point and just distribute the ball.

Also, can we talk about how bad Zaza is? Woodson actually let Al Horford foul out.

Woody was about to take him out after his fifth foul, looked at the bench, and left him in.

I think that's more about Woodson's hatred of Zaza more than Zaza being bad. He's not actually been too bad lately. But I think everyone did catch that-Horford was sent to the bench and was back in before his butt hit the bench.

agree to disagree. i think zaza has digressed exponentially since even last year.
he went from bargain to terrible player in two years.
