GAME NOTES

ATLANTA INJURY REPORT: None.

TORONTO INJURY REPORT
: Reggie Evans is listed as day-to-day. It'd be just as well were he not to make his debut this evening as, were he to, I'd conservatively estimate him to grab, say, four offensive rebounds in twelve minutes.

FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY: Atlanta -9, 211 o/u

OTHER PERSPECTIVES
: Raptors Republic

PREVIOUSLY, THE TORONTO RAPTORS...lost 106-102 at home to Washington last night. It was Toronto's fourth straight loss but their best defensive performance (112.1 points per 100 possessions) since November 13th (spanning 10 games) when they held the Clippers to 105.7 points per 100 possessions in Los Angeles to pick up their second (and most-recent) road win of the young season.

Toronto's defense is terrible but their offense is very good. The Raptors augment Chris Bosh's high-usage, high-efficiency production and Andrea Bargnani's somewhat less high-usage, slighter more efficient production with a handful of role players (Turkoglu, Claderon, Jack, DeRozan, Belinelli) content to make what good looks they get while refraining from turning the ball over. Also, Antoine Wright plays a bit--purportedly to improve the team defense, but definitely limiting the team offensively.

Consider this an open thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game (but pre-recap) thoughts.
