An orgy of turnovers and missed free throws. Ugly. I had jumped on the Hawks bandwagon during a period of relatively high quality b-ball (67) ... so, this brings back that visceral disappointment when they added Bellamy and Maravich, underachieving every step. I went on to live in N'Awlins '73-'76 and enjoyed watching the horrid newcomers JAZZ "led" by a gunning Maravich, who did nothing more than shoot shoot shoot.
