Hometown Paper Provides Thomas Gardner Status Report

From yesterday's edition of The Oregonian, Geoffrey C. Arnold spoke with Thomas Gardner about missing the hometown game in Portland to play two games in the D-League:

"Not only did I get show (Hawks' staff) that I can play, but it gives me a chance to show other teams I can play. My whole thought process was I'd rather go to Anaheim and play two games instead of being inactive in Portland."

Gardner gets it. Good luck to him wherever he lands next season.
