Too many games we see these 2nd quarter runs by the opposition when the entire second team is on the court. We're not the Bulls, the second team can't hold on to leads for extended periods of time. It's so bad that it's comical at times.James Goedershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14191501889587327898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8912756.post-79919609441709445972012-03-10T23:06:24.389-05:002012-03-10T23:06:24.389-05:00Bronn,

I did grade Stack on his own private Stack-scale. Compared to anyone else on the team (maybe not Dampier) his score should have been much lower, but like I mentioned in the post I don't think we can ask for much more out of him.James Goedershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14191501889587327898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8912756.post-54766987070060464922012-03-08T18:16:48.144-05:002012-03-08T18:16:48.144-05:00It didn't seem odd to me at all JDK3665. LD has been putting absurd lineups on the floor since he was promoted to head coach.Buddy Grizzardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17922712364080112515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8912756.post-70837680944412775412012-03-08T11:59:32.938-05:002012-03-08T11:59:32.938-05:00The one thing that surprised / frustrated me was t...The one thing that surprised / frustrated me was the team that Drew had on the court at the start of the 4th quarter. If I remember right it was Pargo, Stackhouse, Radmonovich, Johnson, and Dampier. It didn't seem that those guys knew what to run on offense. Who was supposed to score in that group?

I get that the starters need a rest, but all 5 subs? Did that seem odd to anyone else?JDK3665https://www.blogger.com/profile/09499038829678886222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8912756.post-27820772996199793962012-03-08T10:54:26.111-05:002012-03-08T10:54:26.111-05:00I guess Jeff Teague rolled his ankle, and that'...I guess Jeff Teague rolled his ankle, and that's why he was missing over that crucial last minute. They really needed him at that point-his ability to drive was one of the best offensive things the Hawks had going last night.

Are you grading a curve? Stack was solid, but he committed 3 turnovers in 18 minutes, had some very questionable shot attempts, and didn't contribute in terms of rebounding. He didn't have an assist either, but that's largely a factor of Josh Smith being the inevitable open man after he drives into the lane.Bronnthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11706422637764110117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8912756.post-14690804219756420762012-03-08T10:54:16.948-05:002012-03-08T10:54:16.948-05:00I second the bonus points for Josh, too.
