No. Choosing Teague over Collison was not a good idea. Collison would contribute now and could be the future of the franchise, since he is only a year older than Teague. And Teague may never be the type of player that Collison is now. And while I agree with the drafting of Crawford, how does he provide the Hawks with a brighter future than Lawal. Lawal is a year younger than Crawford and could have contributed right away behind Smith. So while you say that Atlanta is being more conscious of their future, they are drafting older players with a chance to mature, not young players with an extremely high ceiling. If they are going to do that, then they are much better off drafting sure fire production, players like Collison, Blair, and Lawal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
