At 11:55 this morning Barcelona faces CSKA Moscow in the first half of the double-header in Berlin. Watch David Andersen and wish he could fill in for Al Horford (if necessary) tonight.
The second game is an all-Greek tilt: Olympiacos vs. Panathanaikos, scheduled for a 2:55pm tip.

Consider this an open thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game thoughts.
David Andersen opens the scoring via a pump-fake, three dribbles to his left, and a 14-foot pull-up jumper.
ReplyDeleteSo Childress is still in the playoffs?
ReplyDeleteYep.
ReplyDeleteTotally irrelevant but oddly comforting given the Hawks post rotation tonight: CSKA Moscow's getting good minutes from Sasha Kaun in the first half today.
ReplyDeleteKaun played less than four minutes per game and appeared in just 8 Euroleague games before today.
Of course, this may only raise the question of whether or not Solomon Jones is better than Kaun to begin with.
WE need to rally behind Solo! WE have to!
ReplyDeleteI believe I will agitate for bringing David Andersen over this summer.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Santiago: still limited athletically and ill-tempered should you be wondering.
ReplyDeleteDavid Andersen would probably not improve the team's defense though I'd consider the alternatives before automatically assuming he'd hurt it more than they would.
ReplyDeleteCSKA Moscow wins 82-78. 24 points from Andersen but he's destined for the 3rd place game.
ReplyDeleteI love that 6 of the 10 top plays for Olympiacos feature Childress...
